Dr. Kathie Elliott Educational Leadership Scholarship
Purpose
Dr. Elliott’s family and friends would like to leave a legacy in the field that Kathie loved so dearly. This fund is being established to provide financial assistance to educators who aspire to educational leadership positions.
Funding Goal
To create longevity, a goal of $25,000, so this scholarship will continue in her memory.
Leadership Experience
Kathie spent 33 years in Cobb County. Her experience includes elementary teacher, along with principalships at Eastside Elementary, Varner Elementary and Kennesaw Elementary. She also spent some time working in Human Resources prior to her principalships. After retiring, she continued her efforts with developing educators. Kathie worked with Berry College as a coach to graduate students seeking their Educational Leadership degree. She also supervised student teachers through Kennesaw State University.
