Purpose
The Betty Gray Teacher Scholarship will be used to prepare and advance those interested in serving in the teaching field. Ms. Gray dedicated most of her 88 years to students obtaining educational success. She served as the first woman administrator in 1972 and went on to serve on the school board for 16 years in the South Cobb area of the county.
Her dedication to Education and her students will be remembered by many in the county and this scholarship will help future generations of teachers to see the imprint she left on students, as well as create their own legacy for students.
Funding Goal
To create longevity, a goal of $25,000, so this scholarship will continue in her memory.
