PROJECT 2400, created in 2006, is a strategic partnership between the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the Cobb County School District to help enhance our students' SAT scores, which is now based on a score of 2400. In 2009, the Cobb Schools Foundation became the fiscal agent of Project 2400.

Cobb County schools fare well compared to other systems in the U.S. and Georgia. However, many students lag behind or miss out on an opportunity to attend their college of choice due to low test scores.

Currently, The Cobb Schools Foundation with funds from Cobb County School District, and local business contributions helps fund Project 2400 to provide an SAT preparation course for students in their junior year of high school.

"I think the most beneficial part of the class was taking the practice tests, because familiarity with the questions makes a huge difference on test day. This class made a huge difference, and will hopefully give me that step up in the college admissions process." says Kristina Sick,  Pope High School
